How do they have babys ?
Most sharks produce large well-developed offspring numbering at the most 100 to
a litter. Most sharks hatch the eggs within the female and bear live young. The
first sharks that develop eat the eggs that are left in the mother. Some sharks
lay their egss externally in an egg case.
The tuff leathery egg case is called a mermaids purse. Egg cases come in
different sizes and shapes. Horn shark egg cases are spiral - shaped,
rectangular swell shark egg cases have
hooks of strings that get tangled up in sea weed keeping them from floating
